Trade Fair in SW China Attracts over 15 Billion Yuan in Investment
More than 30 contracts involving 15.42 billion yuan were signed on November 16 at a trade fair held in Nanning, capital of southwest China's Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region.
Of the total, 10 contracts involve foreign investment, including 750 million yuan of loans from the Austrian government to build a hydro-electric power station in Liuzhou city, and investment by an Austrian company to build the Changzhou hydro-electric power station.
The contracts also cover such sectors as forestry, paper-production, food, building materials and infrastructure.
