S.Korean Military Planes to Visit Japan
South Korean Air Force planes will make its first visit to Japan Saturday, said the South Korean Defense Ministry.
This will be the first time for South Korea's military aircraft to visit Japan thought the two countries have exchanged visits by naval vessels.
The planes, a C-130 and a CN-235, will land at the Iruma air base of the Japanese Self-Defense Force near Tokyo, carrying 50 band members to join the Japanese troops' music festival slated to open in Tokyo on November 25-26.
Some 1,000 military band members from South Korea, Japan and the United States will take part in the festival, which is held every year since 1963.
