China Up Six In FIFA's Latest Standing
In the latest international standing announced by FIFA Wednesday Nov. 15, China ranks at 71st place with an aggregate of 485 marks for its good performance in Soccer Asian Cup, up six in its standing on the world stage.
Japan, Champion of the 2000 Asian Cup Title, rose by 15 to the 34th place, claiming the biggest pace in international standing. Saudi Arabia, the runner-up of the past Asian Cup Final, brought itself to the 35th from the 46th whereas no big change took place among the first top three with Brazil remaining at No. 1, above France (the second) and Argentina (the third).
