Sino-Foreign Consultancy Firms to Jointly Launch On-Line Survey

A Chinese leading on-line consultancy company, ccidnet.com, has signed agreements with the Gallup Organization on cooperation in on-line surveying.

Their first cooperative project-- survey on the behavior and attitude of China's Internet users, will be unveiled by the end of this year.

The two firms will also jointly set up a permanent sample panel of China's Internet users through random selections, according to the agreement. In the first stage, the panel will cover Internet users in Beijing, Shanghai and Guanzhou. The panel will then be extended to other cities.

China's first on-line survey system was recently launched by ccidnet.com. The company now has had a panel of 200,000 inquirees in the IT industry.
