Sichuan Shuts Down Organizations for Illicit Activities
Sichuan
Provincial Industrial and Commercial Administration recently shut down two organizations involved in obtaining money through illicit activities.
Both the "Sichuan Provincial Office for Publicity of Renowned Enterprises" and the "Provincial Office for Publicity of Enterprises and Institutions" were involved in collecting money illegally from enterprises and institutions.
Initial investigations found that the two "offices" have cheated more than 170 enterprises, each obtaining hundreds of thousands of yuan, in the name of "helping develop China's vast western region.
The case is under further investigation.
