Chinese Players All Lose in First Round of Volvo Open

Chinese players all lose in Tuesday's first round of the 12th Volvo Women Tennisang Open, which is held between November 10 and 19 in Thailand's resort city of Pattaya, kilometers south of Bangkok.

During her match today, the experienced Chinese single player Li Fang Lose the first set 4-6 to world No. 117 Webb Vanessa from Canada, but managing to win back the second set. However, she was eventually defeated in the final set with 1-6.

The Chinese double players Li Ting and Li Na, this games' 4th seeds, had a similiar fate of losing to a Russia pair.

In other matches today, Thailand's most-famous and world No.31 Tamarine Tanasugrn and other 4 seeded players passed the first round easily. However, another seeded player, Sweden's Carlsson Asa lose to South Korea's Cho Yoon Jeong.

The other two seeded players, top seed Talaja Silvia and 6th seed Myskina Anastasia have already lost their chances during first-round matches yesterday. The World No. 29 Talaja's failure is considered to be the biggest suprise of this competition.

The game will enter the second round tomorrow, and the final will be made on November 19.
