Chongqing High-tech Fair Closes
The Second Chongqing High-tech Fair closed on November 14 after more than 5 billion yuan of contracts were signed in this southwest China' Municipality.
During the 4-day event, 4,000 projects were displayed in the exhibition hall while another 5,000 projects were displayed on-line.
Sponsored by the Commission of Science, Technology and Industry for National Defense, the China Invention Association and the Chongqing Municipal Government, the fair focuses on new technologies suitable for both the army and civilian sectors and new information technology, bio-technology, environmental technology, and advanced agricultural technology products.
