China, Cambodia Ink Seven DocumentsChina and Cambodia signed in Phnom Penh Monday seven documents to boost bilateral cooperation.Visiting Chinese President Jiang Zemin and his entourage, Cambodian King Norodom Sihanouk, Prime Minister Hun Sen and other senior officials attended the signing ceremony. Chinese Vice Premier Qian Qichen and Cambodian Deputy Prime Minister Sar Kheng signed the China-Cambodia Joint Statement on the Framework of Bilateral Cooperation. Relevant departments of the two countries also signed two inter-governmental agreements on bilateral economic and technological cooperation and on the formation of China-Cambodian economic and trade cooperation committee. Chinese and Cambodian officials also exchanged letters for providing material assistance for the working team of King Sihanouk, a charitable department in charge of disaster reduction and other welfare affairs, and for extending period of use of Chinese governmental preferential loans to Cambodia. Agricultural ministries of the two countries signed a memorandum of understanding for agricultural cooperation. The two countries also exchanged letter of notification for the China-Cambodia Repatriation Pact.
