Aimed to exhibit the fascination of digital life and promote e-commerce, the China International Websites Expo is scheduled to be held at the China World Trade Centre in Beijing from November 15 to 18.

The expo has attracted various Internet companies including many well-known domestic IT (Information Technology) enterprises, according to chinadaily.com.cn.

A WAP (Wireless Application Protocol) Internet Service Senior Seminar is also scheduled during the three-day expo.

Numerous mobile operators, mobile equipment providers, representatives from noted websites and government officials are expected to attend the seminar.

The expo assembles various websites, ranging from portals to vertical sites, in the fields of entertainment, life, stock exchange, science, news and others, exhibiting modern city life in a digital world. Chinadaily.com.cn was also invited to participate in the expo.

During the show, visitors may surf on the Internet for free, learning, chatting, shopping and dealing on the Web. Palm.com, which was the first to launch wireless securities operations in China, has formed a "Wireless Securities Zone" with its business partners.
