Hong Kong's Computer Game Wins Best Tourist Film of 2000

Computer Game, produced by Hong Kong Tourist Association, was awarded the Best Tourist Film of 2000 by the International Tourist Film Committee on Friday.

It is the second time for Hong Kong to win the award since 1989. Except Computer Game, other four tourist films from Austria, Holland and Australian won the Nomination prizes.

Marez Rossmann, Austrian State Secretary for tourism, addressed the award ceremony, saying that the tourist film is the best way for tourist advertising and more and more people will travel around the world in the next ten years.

Austria is the first country of the European Union to sign the tourist agreement with China, and cooperation between the two countries in such an industry holds great promise, Marez added.
