No Force Can Stop Vietnam's SocialismGeneral Secretary of the Communist Party of Vietnam (CPV) Central Committee Le Kha Phieu said that CPV is determined to advance along the way of socialism and no force can stop it from doing so.Phieu made the remarks here Saturday while meeting with member of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China Li Tieying and the delegation of Chinese scholars and experts for social sciences and theoretical studies. Phieu said both the first and the second Sino-Vietnam symposiums on theory were very successful. It is very useful that the two countries' scholars and experts for social sciences and theoretical studies exchange views on socialist theory and other issues of common concern, he said. Under the guidance of Marxism, the two parties and countries are opening up and developing on the way of socialist construction. The two parties and countries combine theory with practice and unceasingly deepening the theory in practice, said Phieu, adding that such symposium should be held many times in order to sum up practical experiences, work out right lines and policies, and enrich socialist theory. During the meeting, Li Tieying, who is also president of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, said that the guide-line of " long-term, stable and good-neighborly relations with comprehensive cooperation oriented to the future" set by General Secretary Jiang Zemin and General Secretary Le Kha Phieu is an important guiding principle for the development of the relationship between the two countries. Theoretical exchanges and studies are an important component part of the friendly cooperation between the two parties and countries of China and Vietnam, he said. Chinese scholars and experts for social sciences and theoretical studies would like to further strengthen cooperation with their Vietnamese counterparts, contributing to further development of Sino-Vietnam good neighborliness and comprehensive cooperation, Li added. Prominent at the meeting were Nguyen Duc Binh, politburo member of the Communist Party of Vietnam Central Committee; Nguyen Van Son, director of External Relations Commission of the Communist Party of Vietnam Central Committee; Dai Bingguo, vice head of the delegation of Chinese scholars and experts for social sciences and theoretical studies; and Chinese Ambassador to Vietnam Qi Jianguo. Li Tieying and his entourage arrived here on Thursday and attended the two-day Second Sino-Vietnam Symposium of Theory, which concluded Saturday afternoon.
