China to Stage First Int'l Timber Fair

China will stage an International Timber Products Fair from November 12-14 in Fuzhou City£¬ capital of east China's Fujian Province.

The fair sponsored by State Forestry Administration and China Timber Circulation Association has already had all of its 270 booths booked out by domestic and foreign companies from 22 countries and regions including Germany£¬France£¬America£¬Italy and Japan.

The fair will have exhibits of some 1,000 varieties ranging from timber logs£¬panels and slabs£¬bamboo£¬furnishing and fitting materials£¬from forestry machinery to flowers and forestry by-products. A number of forums will be put on by renowned experts and corporate leaders £¬ who will present their reports about analysis and forecast on the timber trade. A public appraisal on Chinese consumers' favorite timber products will also be held during the fair.
