Information Safety Industry Gains Annual Production Value of 5 Billion Yuan
12 among the 70 enterprises gathering in Beijing for the Second China International Computer Information System Safety Exposition are overseas ones. Carrying advanced information system safety technology and product, they came to China in the hope to dabble in the gigantic uncultivated Chinese market.
In China some renowned IT enterprises such as Legend have begun research and manufacture in this field. Even Hisense who mainly engages in traditional household appliances has organized a dramatic campaign of offering a reward of 5 billion Yuan to challenge hacks. Charm of this industry can be seen obviously.
According to Mr. Wang Junfeng from Legend Computer Company, turnover of information safety products covers 10 percent of that of all the network products so all China's network information safety products will reach an annual turnover of about 5 billion renminbi.
Tian Qiyu, vice governor of the Ministry of Public Security, has said that as of September this year, 230 Chinese enterprises have engaged in research and manufacture computer information system safety products and 335 products have acquired sales licenses. All of the above show that Chinese computer information system safety products have formed a certain scale.
