Defense Minister Leaves for Three African Countries

Defense Minister Chi Haotian left Beijing November 10 on an official goodwill visit to Algeria, Morocco, and Tunisia.

Chi, who is also vice-chairman of the Central Military Commission and a state councilor, is visiting the three countries at the invitation of the Algerian Ministry of National Defense, the Morocco government, and Tunisian Minister of Defense Mohamed Jegham respectively.
