No China Fight in Holyfield's Future
WBA heavyweight champion Evander Holyfield has no plans to fight in China despite reports from
Hong Kong
that Holyfield would fight there early next year, local media said on November 9.
The USA Today quoted his manager Jim Thomas as saying on Wednesday that the former undisputed world champion hasn't settled on a site for his next fight, a likely rematch with John Ruiz.
Thomas said "There's no deal, and there isn't anything close to a deal."
