2000 China Sports Goods Expo Opened in Changsha

2000 China Sports Goods Expo opened November 9 in Changsha City, Hunan Province.
China Sports Goods Expo is being held on a large scale. Made available are altogether 2,349 standard exhibits stands for 575 enterprises and three renowned agencies, including 527 ordered by 50 enterprises from Fujian Province and 448 by 27 enterprises from HK, Taiwan, and Macao. Among the various sports goods producers are also included Nike Co. Ltd. and some other enterprises seen for the first time from the US attending a like expo in China.
Exhibits stands had been booked in advance on the Internet and this has greatly boosted successful holding of the expo.
A series of activities will meanwhile be undertaken including reports with expertise on China's development of sports goods production and a grand evening party to be held by famous anchormen and anchorwomen. A National Mass Sports Work Meeting and National Public Tendering Contest will also be called.
Sponsored by State General Administration of Sports, Hunan Provincial Government, Chinese Sports Goods Union and China Society of Physical Culture Science, backed by Changsha Municipal Government and Hunan Youyi Apollo Co. Ltd., 2000 China Sports Goods Exp is held by the Physical Culture Department of Hunna Province.
