Shanghai Prepares Art Trade Fair
Organizers of the Second Shanghai International Art Festival announced Thursday that the trade fair of art and performances will be carried out between November 12 and 15 at the Shanghai International Conference Center.
More than 90 organizations, including some well-known entertainers, IMG and Disney, have booked all the 102 exhibition stands in the trade fair, organizers said.
China's Ministry of Culture and Shanghai Municipal Cultural and Broadcasting Bureau plan to promote the ancient opera Sima Qian and the multi-media melodrama Autumn at the fair.
An art information exchange meeting will also be prepared for November 12 for domestic and overseas performing circles as well as for art agencies.
