China Agricultural High-tech Expo EndsThe Seventh China Yangling Agricultural High-tech Expo ended Thursday at the State Yangling Agricultural High-tech Industries Pilot Zone in northwest China's Shaanxi Province.During the five-day expo, more than 1.2 million people visited the agricultural high-tech zone in Wugong County, 90 kilometers away from Xi'an, Shaanxi's capital. Meanwhile, the trade volume of technology transfer totaled over 13.3 billion yuan (1.6 billion U.S. dollars), expo organizers said. The United Nations Development Program and 16 Chinese ministries, such as the Ministry of Science and Technology and Ministry of Foreign Trade and Economic Cooperation, supported the agricultural high-tech expo. Businesses from 18 foreign countries and regions, including Germany and the United States, participated in the expo. Well-known economists, entrepreneurs and bankers also gave lectures during the event.
