China to Sign Agreement on Global Standard Regulations for Vehicle Production
China is going to join the agreement of global standard regulations for vehicle production from next month onwards according to the announcement of the United Nations Economic Commission for Europe (UN/ECE).
The agreement which entered into force last August has laid down detailed rules and standards on the global auto-manufacturing, the contents of which are particular to the brake system, tire, signal-light, windshield, fog-proof and defrosting devices and auto function tests as well.
According to the ECE person in concern this agreement has helped in coordinating the relevant standards which have so far remained different in various countries. The implementation of it will be conducive to improving the auto safety, anti-theft performance, effective use of energy and to the better protection of environment.
America, Japan, Germany, UK, France, Russia, Canada and EU have formally entered by signing the agreement and China is going to be the 9th member of the agreement.
