A contract to set up an E-commerce Laboratory was signed between the International Business Machines Corporation (IBM) (China) and Jiangsu Hangao Information Industry Co.Ltd. at the Third Xuzhou Economic and Trade Fair last week . The total investment from IBM is RMB 17 million Yuan.

This cooperation between IBM and Hangao will give full play to their superiority in hard ware and soft ware products, technology, net resource and information channels, unfolding technical exchanges, products development, resources sharing and platform operation, promoting scientific research and application in the field of domestic e-commerce.

Jiangsu Hangao Information Industry Co.Ltd. is the first operating entity of " Experimental Project of Urban E-commerce" in the whole country, approved by the Ministry of Science & Technology.
