UNESCO Helps Rebuild School in Henan

The United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) has helped rebuild a primary school in Neixiang County, Henan Province.

Ms. Doreen Chin-Huang, administrative officer of UNESCO's Beijing Office, attended the completion ceremony of the building of the school.

The two-story building has classrooms, a library, a computer center and audio-video rooms. It is large enough to accommodate 300 students.

Since the opening of UNESCO's Beijing Office, its has financed the construction of over 40 primary schools in China's remote, disaster-hit areas and ethnic minority areas.
