Photon Science Valley to Emerge in Anhui
Nearly one hundred scientists involved in photon study recently put forward the suggestion to build a state-level photon science valley in Anhui province in east China.
Despite the fact that many other provinces in China like Guangdong, Hubei and Jilin have already started similar projects, the scientists hold the belief that Anhui, boasting several tertiary institutes like the famed Chinese University of Science and Technology, is unparalleled in its academic achievements in terms of photon study.
The suggestion has been applauded by respected photon scientists in China.
According to the plan, the photon science valley in Anhui will mainly focus on laser medical equipment, laser processing and optical communication technology parts.
