Electronic Trading to Feature China's Futures Market
Along with the progress in information technology, electronic trading will feature China's futures market in a few years time, agreed delegates at the ongoing seminar on electronic trading of futures market.
The competition between futures broker companies will mainly focus on electronic fund management with advanced information technologies and on the provision of pragmatic and timely services, they said.
A number of information technology companies presented their latest products during the seminar, which opened in Shanghai last Friday.
Some companies advertised their special futures channel in which specific futures information and predictions are predicted, but the most attractive product was a type of futures trading management system software especially suited to futures trading.
According to Kang Huanjun, an official with the China Securities Regulatory Commission, three main futures companies are undergoing the process of connecting an intranet to lower trading costs and raise efficiency.
