Poor Students in Hong Kong to Get Notebook Computers
The
Hong Kong
government has decided to appropriate 200 million H.K. dollars from an education fund to buy notebook computers for poor students in public schools.
A government official said the decision will benefit the students from low-income families who can not afford personal computers. About 40,000 students receiving financial aid or subsidies are expected to become beneficiaries.
