Tianjin Surfers Have Quicker Internet Access

Internet surfers in Tianjin had quicker Internet access beginning Sunday when the bandwidth of the ZLnet IDC, an Internet service provider in the city, was expanded to 100M.

The ZLnet IDC linked Chinanet through 100M+10M optical fibres, making net surfing about 50 times faster.

Tianjin, a municipality neighboring Beijing, has become one of a few Chinese cities that have an Internet bandwidth of 100M.

Li Shenglin, mayor of Tianjin, attended the opening ceremony of the 100M-bandwidth access to the Internet.
