Egyptian Elborolossy Wins Macao Squash Open

Omar Elborolossy of Egypt beat Malaysia's Ong Beng Hee 3-0 on Sunday in the final match of the 2000 Macao Squash Open.

Elborolossy defeated Ong in 17-16, 15-10 and 17-15 inside a glass court set up in a downtown square which was formed hundreds of year ago.

The total prize money for the Macao open was 15,000 US dollars. According to the rules, Omar Elborolossy obtained 19 percent of the prize, that equaled 2850 U.S. dollars while Ong Beng Hee got 1950 percent.

Both Amjad Khan from Pakistan and Jcan-Michel Arcucci of France became the third and each was given 1275 percent of the prize money.
