China Top Medals Table at Asian Wushu Championships

China topped the medals tally while hosts Vietnam came second as the Fifth Asian Wushu Championships concluded Saturday in Hanoi.

China, which bored Wushu or Chinese Martial Arts, collected 16 gold medals and four silvers in the regional tournament which opened on October 31.

Vietnam tallied 11 golds, seven silvers and five bronzes while Chinese Taipei finished third with a 2-6-4 record.

Hong Kong of China, Singapore and Iran rounded up the top six on the medals table.

There were more than 180 athletes from 22 countries who took part in the tournament.
