Jamaica Rejects Plan for Commercial Access to EU
Jamaica's Prime Minister Percival Patterson Saturday rejected a plan for Caribbean products to enter the European Union market.
Patterson, also spokesman for Foreign Trade of the Caribbean Community (Caricom), told European Trade Commissioner Pascal Lamy that the preconditions of the plan would do harm to the less developed countries, according to reports from Kingston, capital of Jamaica.
