China Discovers Japanese Album Containing Invasion EvidenceChina has discovered an album left by Japanese soldiers that invaded China half a century ago.The album, found in northeast China's Liaoning province, contains 96 photos on the Japanese troops' seizure of major northeast Chinese cities. The album provides full documentation of the history of Japan's invasion in northeast China, according to Qi Zhihong, a historian, who obtained the album during a recent investigation. Japanese troops made their way into northeast China in 1931 and occupied the territory until 1945. Qi said that there are some signs showing that the album was compiled according to the Japanese emperor's instruction to exhibit the "lofty deeds and great courage" of the invaders. The pocket size album was designed to be carried by soldiers under any circumstances.
