Israel Starts Pulling Tanks From Gaza
Israel started withdrawal of tanks and personnel carriers from Gaza Strip early Thursday morning, in an apparently move to implement the ceasefire understanding reached with the Palestinians.
At the Karni crossing, the troublespot in recent days, all the tanks and personnel carriers have been moved back into Israel and the road between the crossing and the Netzarim settlement to the west was also opened to traffic.
