Chinese Women Soccer Players Invited to Join US Counterparts
The CFA (Chinese Football Association) said November 1 it has received word from US counterpart that some Chinese women soccer players will join in oncoming US women's soccer league match.
CFA spokesman Feng Jianming told that the US is going to hold women's professional soccer league match the coming year. According to US counterpart's missive October 5, two to four women soccer players including Sun Wen, Gao Hong, Liu Ailing, Fan Yunjie and Zhao Lihong will be invited to take part in their US counterparts' league match and this will be further talked over by it with CFA in Beijing.
Feng said proceeding from the desire to enhance cooperation with foreign counterparts CFA will support Chinese women soccer players to play abroad when domestic matches are not affected; the CFA will listen to opinions of the players themselves with departments concerned and attend to the matter according to rules defined.
