CFA to Push Brokers

The CFA (China Football Association) is to push brokers agency involving foreign-related soccer players' club transfer this year, which means that when a soccer player wants to join in a Chinese or foreign soccer club he has to go through a brokers agency to broker the deal.

Any violation of rules relating to soccer players' club transfer in China would likewise be severely punished according to CFA ruling.

Yang Yimin, chief of CFA Tactics Department, said pushing brokerage in China is to rule China's soccer development, set it on the right transparent track and smooth channels for Chinese clubs to be reinforced by foreign soccer players.

Soccer brokerage is to be wholly practiced in China. As brokers must get registered and backed by security deposits with the CFA brokerage will help make it easy for CFA to investigate and affix the responsibility, said Yang.
