US to Train Measuring Technicians for China

A Sino-American training course commenced here Wednesday to cultivate professional measuring personnel in China.

The training course, which is jointly organized by the Global Technology Inc. from the United States and the Shanghai Vocational Training Center, will introduce the 'Doppler' and other advanced laser measuring techniques to improve China's surveying level of the machinery industry.

The training course plans to enroll some 2,500 people every year. A first-class appraisal center for the training is being put into operation for the purpose.
