Retention of Sci-tech Personnel from China's Mainland Set Loose In Taiwan

authorities said October 30 that professionals from China's mainland including those who go to Taiwan for scientific research, passing on experience and giving lectures can stay in Taiwan for a maximum duration of 3 years.
Those who go to Taiwan for carrying on professional activities should make their applications two months in advance, and Taiwan authorities will simplify the handling procedures concerned.
