Eastern Airlines Wins ISO9002 Certificates
The Shanghai-based China Eastern Airlines Co. Ltd (CEAC), has passed the authentication of quality to earn ISO9002 certificates.
The certificates were presented this Tuesday to the company, China's first air service company with the ISO9002 certificate.
Earning the certificates shows that the company has established a service system that matches international standards, said CEAC general manager Shen Zejiang.
This will help the airline company sharpen its competitive edge in the international market, Shen said.
ISO9002 certificates, as a series of international standards for quality management and supervision, has been adopted in 100 countries worldwide.
