New Park to Be Built at Qinling Mountain
The stone-laying ceremony for a new park was held Sunday on the northern slope of Qinling Mountain, the natural dividing line between north and south China.
The park is composed of a safari, a botanical garden and service quarters covering a total area of 3.8 million square meters. It will cost 640 million yuan to build.
The construction of the park is to boost tourism development and make Qinling more well-known attractive to visitors, said a tourism official.
