Central China's Capital City Holds Trade Fair

Wuhan, capital city of central China's Hubei Province, held an economic and trade fair Sunday attracting some 3,500 business people from home and abroad.

The event is the second one of its kind ever held by the city. some 1,200 overseas business people from the United States, Britain, Germany, France, Hong Kong, Macao, and Taiwan brought their products and technologies to the fair.

Another 500 businesses from other Chinese provinces and municipalities also attended the fair.

Seven societies of Taiwan-funded enterprises from Shenzhen, Zhuhai, Xiamen, Fuzhou, and Chongqing cities took part in the fair as collective participants.

The four-day activity will also arrange a briefing on the investment climate and new policies of Wuhan, and a seminar on high-tech businesses and venture capital.
