Earthquake Jolts Tibet
An earthquake measuring 5.3 on the Richter Scale jolted Amdo County of Nagqu Prefecture in the
Tibet
Autonomous Region at 04:03 (
Beijing
time) Sunday morning.
According to China Seismological Bureau, the epicenter of the quake is located at 32.5 degrees north latitude and 91.9 degrees east longitude.
No information about the casualty has been available so far due to the inconvenient communication in the temblor-hit area.
