Japan to Open Up Tourism Market in East China

Fukuiken prefecture of Japan held an introductory meeting Friday morning to open up tourism market in east China's Zhejiang Province.

Addressing the meeting, Kuritayutio, governor of the prefecture said that "As the twenty-first century is approaching, so is the time when Chinese and Japanese peoples exchange ideas by traveling. "

He welcomed more Chinese tourists to Japan, especially to Fukuiken, a coastal city with beautiful scenery and a rich culture.

Wang Yongming, deputy governor of Zhejiang province, hoped that Hangzhou, the capital city of Zhejiang Province, could soon receive permission from the China National Tourism Administration to allow travelers to go to Japan like those in Beijing, Shanghai and Guangzhou.
