Rodong Sinmun Editorial Marks 50th Anniversary of CPV Entry Into Korea
On the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the Chinese People's Volunteers' entry into the Korean front, Rodong Sinmun in its Ovtober 25 editorial says that the Korean people are looking back with deep emotion on the days of the Fatherland Liberation War when they fought shoulder to shoulder with the Chinese People's Volunteers.
The CPV's entry into the Korean front just meant the participation in the joint struggle of the Korean and Chinese people against imperialism and aggression and an expression of internationalism. The CPV fighters rushed to the Korean front and bravely fought against the common enemy, closely united with the Korean soldiers and people, the editorial notes.
The fighting spirit and exploits displayed by the CPV fighters during the war and stories about the Korea-China friendship are still fresh in the memory of the Korean people.
