He believed that experts and scholars from home and abroad will help promote the development of micro-electronics in Beijing with their valuable advice offered at the seminar. He said Beijing is willing to learn from and cooperate with home and overseas businesses and organizations in order to enhance the growth of the micro-electronic industry. Yu Huanian, chairman of the advisory body to a Taiwan-based industrial research institute, said that enterprises in Taiwan wished to strengthen exchanges with Beijing and cooperate with Beijing in the field of micro-electronics.
