Chinese Wins Gold at Sydney Paralympics

Wu Yancong of China pulled off a jump of 1.93 meters to capture the title of the F46 men's high jump on Thursday at the Paralympic Games.

He also beat the previous world record of 1.92 meters set by Chinese Zhao Xue in the Barcelona Paralympic Games.

This is China's second gold in the men's high jump event after Hou Bin took the title in the F42 category earlier in the day.
