China's Largest IT Company Targets E-Commerce
China's largest information technology company, the
Beijing
-based Legend Computer Group Corp., announced Thursday the founding of Digital China Corp. Ltd., to signal its entrance into the field of E-commerce.
According to Digital China's Vice-President Xie Yun, the company consists of the Legend Science and Technology Company, the Legend Integrated System Company and the newly-established Legend Network Company.
Digital China will mainly provide E-commerce and overall integrated systems planning and service.
Digital China has so far opened a website called "E-bridge" and has set up trading platforms in nine major cities across China.
Business clients can obtain commercial information and complete business transactions through the website.
