Xiong Xiaomin Wins Paralympic Gold in Sydney Games
Chinese swimmer Xiong Xiaomin won the men's 100 meters freestyle S9 title at the Sydney Paralympic Games Wednesday in Sydney.
He clocked 58.62 seconds for the gold medal, which broke the previous world record of 1:00.44 set by American Luis Alicea in 1996 in Atlanta.
