Asia Pacific Leather Fair 2000 Opens in HKThe Asia Pacific Leather Fair 2000 Fashion and Finished Products-Autumn Show, the most international leather fashion showcase in the region, was kicked off on Wednesday.The three-day event provides the best forum in Asia for professionals of the fashion leather industry from around the world to exchange market information and see the latest trends in the industry. The Autumn Show allies 618 exhibiting companies from 27 countries and regions, encompassing 12 group pavilions from China, France, Italy, Korea, Portugal, Spain and China's Taiwan. Spanning over two halls at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Center, a display of exhibits are categorized into four main sectors: Footwear, Garments, Finished Goods, and Accessories & Components. Catwalk parades and theater-style presentations by Italy and Spain are featured this year which brings added excitement and interest. Apart from leading European footwear countries, individual exhibitors from Bangladesh, France, Hong Kong, Portugal and South Africa are also putting their alluring collections under the spotlight through daily fashion parades for the first time in the Autumn Show. To highlight the fashion trends of Fall-Winter 2001-02, there is a new Trend Area displaying dominating leather fashion trends on four themes: Aquatic World, Eldorado, Japanese Garden and Psychedelic Field. |
