First Non-governmental Firms Fair to Be Held in Kunming

The first China Non-Governmental Enterprises Trade Fair is scheduled to be held in Kunming, capital of southwest China's Yunnan Province December 8-12.

New and brandname products made by non-governmental enterprises across China will be on display at the fair, Li Jiating, governor of Yunnan, announced at a news briefing Tuesday in Nanjing, capital of Jiangsu Province.

The fair is expected to attract about 6,000 business people from 100 overseas enterprises and 900 Chinese enterprises.

Yunnan will strengthen cooperation with Jiangsu, an economically developed area in east China, in agro-science, education and culture, tourism development and infrastructure construction, Li said.
