Internet Expressway Opened in Sichuan
Huayu Broadband Network, an "Internet expressway" designed to meet users' demand for high-speed data transmission and E-business has been opened lately in Sichuan Province.
The broadband network, developed by Huayu Company, is a multimedia-supported public service net for information transmission and nets interconnection. It has been linked with networks nationwide and 560km optical cables have been built into some colleges, government institutions, banks and other group users around Chengdu City.
