Wuyi Cup Golf Invitational Tournament Being Held
2000 Wuyi Cup International Golf Invitational Tournament, sponsored by China Golf Association, China Sports Group, Jiangmen Wuyi Golf Entertainment Co. Ltd. and Guangdong Golf Association, has lately been held in Jiangmen, Guangdong Province.
Wide impacts have already been felt by the tournament on mass media both in China and abroad. Over 100 golf bigwigs, famous businessmen and prominent public figures from Australia, Thailand, US, ROK, France, UK, Portugal, Singapore, China, China HK, Macao and Taipei will be invited. Among the notables to be invited to add honor to the tournament are included Robert James Lee Hawke, former Prime Minister of Australia, former deputy prime minister of Thailand, MSAR Chief Executive Edmund Ho Hau-wah, and FAN HSU Lai-tai, president of Legislative Council of China HK.
