China Produces 100 Tails for Boeing-737
The Xi'an Aircraft Industrial Company delivered the 100th Boeing-737 airplane vertical tail to the Boeing company in the
United States
Tuesday.
The vertical tail is used in four models of Boeing-737 airplanes.
The Chinese aircraft maker delivered the first vertical tail for Boeing airplanes to the Boeing company in September, 1998.
At present, the Chinese aircraft maker is able to deliver ten vertical tails to the Boeing company every month.
The company has signed a contract with Boeing to produce 1,500 parts for the American aircraft giant.
