CPC Publicity Chief Calls for Promotion of Party Line

Ding Guangen, director of the Publicity Department of the CPC Central Committee, called for workers in the propaganda and ideological fronts in the country to actively, comprehensively, precisely and extensively promote and implement the spirit of the CPC plenum that concluded earlier this month.

He made the remark during an investigation tour to Shanghai in east China Tuesday.

Ding, also a member of the Political Bureau and the Secretariat of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China (CPC), said that propaganda and ideological workers should motivate all party members and the people of the whole country to unify their thinking with the spirit of the Fifth Plenary Session of the 15th CPC Central Committee.

He said that the propaganda and ideological workers should encourage the people to concentrate their efforts to carry out the tasks that the CPC plenum put forward.

They should encourage the people to be revivified and aggressive so as to realize the strategic goals of the third phase of modernization of the country.
